5 year old knows what he'll be

The other night on our way home from the park, Evan declared, "I FINALLY know what I want to be when I grow up!" Rex and I, both smiling at each other, responded with "Oh really, what is it?" "I'm going to design playgrounds!", he excitedly informed us.

Rex told him he was VERY glad that he FINALLY decided what he wanted to be.

Today Rex brought home from work 2 playground equipment magazines the city uses to purchase their playground equipment for all the parks. Both Evan and Mason looked at them for nearly an hour and were so excited by all the 'cool' stuff they had.

Very cute--it sounds like making that decision has taken a weight off his shoulders! :)

And I love your roses ... it makes me want to plant some!

Max is going to be Batman when he grows up. I think Evans plan is a little more realistic.

I totally love this! Since Jaysen works for a city as well we've spent many a lunch hour investigating different parks--all in the name of research! We have to find the best playground equipment, you know, for when they need to install some new pieces!

That is so great. We have a catalog, too. My boys love looking through them . I think we even have a water park catalog. I'll look for it.

that is adorable! Max currently wants to be a policeman. I'm glad I found your blog, it was tricky, but worth it. Your boys are darling!

Now, that sounds like highly pleasurable job. I am sure he will be super at it, too!
