We have been very fortunate to be able to have our own babies. For this we are grateful. Others may not have this blessing. For this reason, I am grateful for adoption that allows those not able to bear children to add to their families and experience parenthood as well.
Our good friends, Dan and Aranne, have been trying to adopt for quite awhile now. Yesterday they got THE call, and today they brought home a beautiful baby boy. Congratulations!

as you can imagine, i was just absolutely THRILLED when i found out about their new baby!!! i tried to give you a call, but your line was busy, and i got distracted from calling you back. hooray for dan and aranne!!
(oh, and as far as "positive adoption language" is concerned, adopted children ARE our "own," too! i know you mean biological, but i thought i'd just point that out!)
