Evan's learning how to read

We are so proud of him. He just sounds words out by himself with a little bit of help occasionally. I found him last night sitting with Mason reading this book "But No Elephants". I was excited because that is the first book that I remember sitting down to read by myself. I remember I was sitting in our hallway watching my mom put on her makeup and I was reading it to her.

Okay your boys are geniuses! Sounds like Evan could skip kindergarten and first grade. We are going through potty training right now also. It's not going that well. And Luke got a bike for Christmas, but he's not that into it right now. Glad that I'm caught up with what's going on with you.

i'll have to look for that book, i haven't heard of it! but i have to say it is a small obsession of mine to seek out all my favorite childrens' books for my own kids. there is something magical about them.
