Today Evan lost his 1st tooth!
After school he was eating cantaloupe and a tortilla with cheese.
He started talking to me and there was something different about his smile.
I said 'Evan, your tooth is gone!'. I asked if he felt it come out or if he knew where it was
and he said he didn't even feel it. For a moment, I thought for sure he had swallowed it.
I started looking in and around everything (his food, on the table, on the floor) and finally
I saw it lying on the floor. It's amazing I saw it amongst all the other little morsels there. I picked it up and showed it to him and he said, 'That's my tooth?' It looked so little. He was so proud that it came out without even hurting.
So, I guess tonight will be the tooth fairy's first visit to our house.
