I have to admit that I am sort of bugged that our new header picture of the three boys with blocks is so dark. I scanned it into our computer and when I cropped it, it didn't look as good as I was hoping.
I get a little tiffed when I pay good money for portraits and they don't turn out as good as I would have hoped. I have to be honest, Ty was NOT being the most cooperative that day so that was part of why they had to just snap when the moment was semi-right. Evan and Mason were SO cooperative and sweet.
Que Sera Sera - whatever will be, will be.
By the way, does anyone know how to put the header at the bottom of the picture? Or is that just out of the question?

their lighting should have been set up already, and not dependent on the timing of kids. (how on earth could anyone get good pictures of kids if that were the case) Too bad, its a really cute picture, but the lighting certainly isn't professional! That sucks Kim!
I still think that the pic is adorable, i love candid pics so much more than posed. About the header, i tried in every way to put the words someplace else and never could get them to move. So it will always stay at the top.
I love that picture! I have never tried to put the title anywhere but the top. I would take Rachel's (or is it Justin's??? haha) experience and say that it is set up there for life.
I think it's super cute. I know what you mean about things like that not meeting your expectations, but it looks like the dark background makes the boys stand out more in their bright shirts.
No can TOTALLY put the header on the bottom!!! Well the words anyway.... Send me the pic if you dont have Photoshop. You just PUT the words ON the picture! then delete the words on your header

If you have a copy of that picture on your computer, email it to me and I can see if I can photoshop it to lighten it and put a header on the bottom...
Kim, I've been getting my blogskins from template mama. Google her and you'll find the website. I like her site b/c she includes a cool header--unlike many other ones who just do backgrounds.
Thanks for all your ideas and comments. I do have Photoshop 6 (?) on my computer but I don't know how to use it. :(
I do have to admit, the original picture is pretty good. The lighting isn't so bad. I guess scanning it and then cropping it a little made it look really dark.
Awww...I think they look super cute:) I know how you feel though! I always go in with high expectations and leave disappointed! I love the colors you had them wear:)
I don't know how but for the record, I really like the picture! Frustrating when the scan turns out so much darker though....
