DATE NIGHT

Tonight we went out on an actual date. Our friends Dan and Aranne invited us to tag along so we accepted. We started the evening off by doing a temple session. I just love going to the temple even though getting there is half the battle most of the time for us. It is a very peaceful, quiet place of solitude where I can think and ponder without other things vying for my attention. I left there feeling so much better for having gone. I am thankful for the temple and the peace it brings to my life. To learn more about LDS temples, click HERE

Our day was filled with many activities :

1. Rex was up at 6:00 AM to aerate lawns with his brother David.
2. We had an appointment at 10:00 with our realtor to look at a few homes.
3. Much needed play time at the park for about an hour.
   
4. I drove around and scouted out a few garage sales while Rex and boys were at the park.
5. Home for lunch while Rex went to visit our friend Tracey in the hospital (infection in his toe)
6. We all rested for a short time while Ty took a nap.
7. Haircuts for Evan and Mason (we just couldn't go another day)
8. Babysitter, Skye, to our house at 4:00 so we could leave.
9. Temple session at 5:00 (they were nice to let us do the 5:00 session even though we were about 3 minutes late)
10. Dinner at Applebees
11. Shopping at Target for a few items after dinner.
12. Home to go to bed (HaHaHa-Now we've got to get ready for church tomorrow.)

Tonight was a very much needed time out for us. Over dinner we laughed, talked, reminisced about missions, etc. We had a fun time.
