I am sad that none of our kids will ever have Grannie as their Kindergarten teacher because we live in different cities and she will be retiring sooner than later. When I told this to her one day she said to bring Evan out sometime when he's on track break and he can go to school with her for a day. Today was that day. Our cousin Scott is in Grannie's morning kindergarten class so Evan went with her this morning and spent the morning there. He had a great time. They made butter and talked about the letter "M".
We drove there yesterday afternoon and helped in her classroom after school for a few hours. The next day, after AM kindergarten let out, we went to get Evan and spent the lunch hour in Grannie's classroom letting the kids play and helping with a few things.
Thanks Grannie for letting Evan be your 'student of the day'! We love you!
