Today Mason looked at me a smiled in a 'laughing' sort of way. I asked why he was smiling and he said: "Mom, you look a little ugly."

One time when I was a teenager and had just gotten out of the shower I went into the hallway with my robe on and my hair wrapped in a towel. My dad saw me and he said, "Wow, you look a lot better with makeup on."
I wasn't even offended....is that sad or what? I'm not one of those people who look better au natural.
But Kim, I think you're beautiful every day. Maybe Mason was thinking of how fab you looked on Sunday (which you did, btw) and is just comparing every day to that. LOL
I laughed out loud on that one. Kids are so funny. Don't worry my kids have said many brutally honest things to me too:)
I have heard that one before also from my boys! Love them for that!!! Hey we are thinking of making to trip to Vegas for a little mini vacation. I will let you know when we really want to see. Lincoln still will ask me about once a week if we can play with those boys that live far away:)
