Evan and Mason started swimming lessons a few weeks ago. Ella Blazzard from our stake is teaching them and I cannot say enough about how great she is. She is patient, patient, and very patient, and oh so cute with our boys. She has nicknamed Evan 'Hot Dog' and Mason 'Spit Fire'. She couldn't have picked a better name for Mason. It fits him to a "T".

Evan took lessons from her last summer and was very timid around the water. When they started this year, he still was a little apprehensive and not quite sure of himself, but a few weeks ago we went to the pool and whatever inhibitions he had then are now gone! He discovered that he can swim like a fish, put his face and head all the way under water and even open his eyes! In fact, he doesn't want to get out of the pool now.

Mason is a "Spit Fire". He LOVES the water. In fact he kind of makes me (Kim) nervous because if he wants to jump, you better be ready 'cause he's jumpin'.
