A Great Day Outdoors

We had a great "outdoors" day this past weekend.  It started with Rex taking Evan and Ty on a hike in the morning.  The hike was a little over two miles and went along some hills on the outskirts of town.  The hike ended at a city park.  The hikers enjoyed playing for a while at the park and then went to a nearby Subway for lunch.  Kim and the rest of the kids joined up a bit later back at the park and the boys had a great time riding their scooters and bikes at the skate park that was there.  Afterwards we all loaded into the van and drove back to the trailhead where the truck had been left.  We then decided to drive over to another park where a Bike Swap and Rally was being held.  We spent several hours at this event and had a great time.
