This year Evan's birthday fell on Thanksgiving. At Evan's request we used a pumpkin pie for a birthday cake and celebrated after Thanksgiving dinner. It was nice to have a lot of family around to celebrate his birthday. In the morning, Evan opened his gifts. He was most excited to get the book "The Candy Shop War 2" which he was able to finish in the next 3 or 4 days. We are hoping to have a "friends party" for him sometime in the next week or so. Happy Birthday Evan - we are so happy that you are part of our family and it's hard to believe you are already 9 years old.
