Today we had our ultrasound and it is true - we are having a little girl! We are still in shock. I keep wondering if it is really true. The ultrasound technician kept going back to the area and checking again and again to show me that yes it is a girl. She said, "I see nothing that looks like what your other ultrasounds would have looked like with your boys."
As we did on the day of our other kids's ultrasounds, I went shopping afterward to buy an outfit, (or two, or three, or four :) When we found out she is a girl, I told the boys they could each pick something out for her. That is what they are holding in the picture. They had a lot of fun shopping for little baby girl clothes. It makes me laugh that the two dresses that Evan and Ty chose are blue...but what the hey...at least they are dresses:)
After shopping we went to Party City and bought pink balloons to give our friends to announce the excitement. We even sent Grandpa and Grandma U. pink flowers with a note. We can't wait for her to be born around January 21, 2012!

I'm glad you emailed me..I forgot your blog was private! So, you didn't go for a basketball team! I am so happy for you!! Watch out...they are so emotional!! My little girl has blue eyes, so it's funny that when you get your little girl, she looks good in blue...it's supposed to be pink!!
