Seven Fabulous years! I love him more now than I did back then. Thanks for being mine, Honey!
To celebrate our anniversary we went to St.George this past weekend and saw "The Sound of Music" at Tuacahn. We took Ty with us while Evan and Mason stayed with Granny and Grandpa Hardy. We saved some money by staying the night at our friends' house, the Murphy's , and were able to leave Ty with them so he could go to sleep at his regular time (Thanks Brandon and Emily!). We slept in as long as Ty would let us the next morning and leisurely got ready for the day and then went to breakfast. We then went to Boulevard Home Furnishings to look around and then did a little more shopping before grabbing a bite to eat and heading home. It was a very fun and relaxing anniversary trip.
Our actual anniversary is today so we took the kids and went to eat dinner at The Olive Garden. We don't take the kids out to 'fancy' restaurants very often so we needed to explain some 'rules' before heading in to eat. They did pretty good, but, yeeaaahh, I think next year we will opt to go without the kids. Needless to say, it was not a very relaxing or romantic evening. Ty was fussy because it was his bedtime. Evan was freezing cold the entire time and so kept telling us. Mason just wouldn't stop talking. He was Batman or Superman nearly the entire dinner hour. We would say 'Eat your pizza.' and he would say 'Batman doesn't like pizza". I figured out why, though. Because we didn't have jackets or anything in the car to keep them warm we used the large cloth napkins to put around their shoulders. Mason insisted on having it hang down in the back to resemble a superhero's cape. Yep, that's how the whole Batman/Superman thing started. So I guess it was our fault. Oh well, dinner was eaten, kids were held, the tab was paid, and the waiters were probably glad to get rid of us.
We wouldn't have our boys be anyone other than who they are. Each of their personalities bring spice to our family. They truly bring meaning, love, and joy to our lives, hearts, and home. We love you Evan, Mason, and Ty! We're so glad Heavenly Father sent you to be our sons.

Thats right....Happy Anniversary!!! I forgot until I saw your post that we share the exact same anniversary! I love St. George and it sounds like you had a lot of fun. It is so funny that we both have been married for 7 years and have 3 kids....stop copying us:)
Call me next year, I'll babysit so you can go to dinner by yourselves. Sydney loves the Olive Garden, too, because of the blankies to keep you warm (napkins). Sounded like fun! Natalie
